These Williams Sphagetti Sauced pizza snacks pack a whole lot of flavor into every snack-sized bite! Delicious creativity awaits.
2 Pita bread, split into round halves
1/4 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
1 can (15 ounces) Tomato sauce
1 can (6 ounces) Tomato paste
1 can (4 ounces) Sliced Mushrooms, drained
1 pkg. Williams Spaghetti Sauce
1lb Pork sausage, Italian or regualr, fully cooked and drained
2 cups Shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 400oF. Place pita halves in baking sheet. Sprinkle each half with 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly toasted.
In a medium sauce pan, combine tomato sauce, tomato paste, mushrooms, and Spaghetti Sauce. Cook, over medium heat, stirring frequently, until heated through.
Spread sauce over each pita bread half. Top with sausage and mozzarella. Bake 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted.
