Chili Bean Dip is the ultimate crowd-pleaser at any gathering. This creamy, cheesy dip combines the flavors of chili and beans, with a hint of Williams Chili Seasoning, to create an irresistible appetizer that disappears fast.
1 pkg Williams Chili Seasoning, any flavor
2 cans refried beans (16oz)
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese, divided
Tortilla chips
Preheat oven to 350° F. Stir together refried beans, Williams Chili Seasoning, sour cream, cilantro and 1 cup of shredded cheese; spoon into a lightly greased 8-inch baking dish. Top with remaining cheese.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is melted and mixture is thoroughly heated. Serve with tortilla chips.
Makes 4 1/2 cups.
Great Idea: Use as a condiment in tacos, enchiladas or quesadillas!
Microwave Tip: Prepare as directed but do not top with cheese. Cover and microwave for 2 minutes. Top with remaining cheese; cover and microwave for 2-4 minutes or until hot. Allow to stand 2 minutes before serving.
