These chili grilled cheese sticks mix Williams Original Chili Seasoning directly into shredded cheese before grilling for crispy, golden sandwiches with bold spice flavors that go beyond basic grilled cheese. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add onion and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
Add ground beef and cook until completely browned, about 8-10 minutes.
Drain any excess oil.
Add tomato sauce, water and Williams Original Chili Mix to the skillet and simmer until reduced by half, about 15 minutes.
Onto 6 slices of bread, layer one slice of cheese and chili mixture.
Top with remaining cheese and bread slices.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat.
Place sandwiches into skillet in an even layer and cook until cheese is melted and bread is golden-brown, about 2 minutes per side.
Remove from skillet and slice each sandwich into strips.
Place onto a serving plate and serve with ranch dressing.
