These sausage pinwheels combine breakfast sausage, cream cheese, and Williams Country Gravy Mix rolled in puff pastry for elegant appetizers with rich, savory centers. The country gravy mix adds authentic breakfast flavor while puff pastry creates impressive golden layers. Perfect for brunch or entertaining.

Crumble and cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until well browned; drain.
Unroll pizza crust on lightly floured board to make a rectangle.
Spoon cooked sausage over crust.
Roll dough, jelly roll fashion.
Slice into rolls about 3/4 an inch thick.
Preheat oven to 435oF.
Arrange rolls, cut side up, on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Meanwhile, combine Country Gravy Mix, milk, and water in sauce pan.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat and simmer for 1-2 minutes.
Spoon the Country Gravy over the Sausage Pinwheels. 8 Servings.
Hint: For easier slicing, wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate 1-2 hours.
