Doning a rich tomato flavor, our Sloppy Joe Seasoning will make family meals just that much better. Even the kids will approve.

Preparation Instructions:

Yield: 8 servings

  1. Brown and crumble 1 lb. ground beef. Drain fat.
  2. Stir in 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste and 1 cup water, or 1 can (16 oz.) tomatoes.
  3. Add one package SLOPPY JOE SEASONING.
  4. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve on hamburger buns.

 

Recipe Variations:

Zesty Sloppy Joes: Add 1 diced onion, 1 diced green bell pepper and 1 diced red bell pepper and brown with meat.

Sloppy Tacos: Prepare Sloppy Joes as directed. Place 3 tbsp. mixture in warm flour tortilla. Top with lettuce, onion, shredded cheese and sour cream. Tortilla chips could be substituted for flour tortillas for Sloppy Joe Salad.

Sloppy Joe Casserole: Prepare Sloppy Joes as directed. Add 1 diced green bell pepper to the mixture. In a casserole dish. combine SLOPPY JOE MIX, 10 oz. cooked and drained pasta, and 1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes. Top with an additional 1/2 cup cheese and 1/4 cup sour cream.
