Preparation Instructions:

Spaghetti Sauce

Yield: Approximately 3 cups

Preparation

  1. Empty 1 package SPAGHETTI SAUCE MIX into saucepan.
  2. Blend in 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste, 3 cans (18 oz.) water and 2 tbsp. olive oil.
  3. Bring to boil. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

 

Microwave Instructions

  1. Blend together SPAGHETTI SAUCE MIX, 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste, and 2 cups water in 2 qt. bowl. Cover loosely with wax paper. Add 2 tbsp. oil if desired.
  2. Microwave on high (100%) power 12-15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.

 

Recipe Variations

Spaghetti Sauce With Meat: Crumble and brown 1/2 ground beef, drain fat and add to sauce.

French Bread Pizzas: Make SPAGHETTI SAUCE as directed above. Spoon over French Bread, sliced 1/2 thick. Top with Mozzarella cheese and your favorite pizza toppings. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread is crispy.
